With Pro, you add your Anthropic API key once. Every AI feature runs through your key. Anthropic bills you directly at their published rates — no markup, no mystery charges. Your €29/month subscription covers the platform; what you spend on AI is fully in your control.

How do I set up my own API key on the Pro plan?
Go to console.anthropic.com, create an account, and generate an API key. Then open ReadySetJob → Settings → AI and paste your key. It takes about two minutes. New Anthropic accounts receive $5 in free credits — enough for several weeks of typical usage.
What does "at Anthropic cost" mean exactly?
It means you pay Anthropic directly for AI API calls at their published per-token pricing. ReadySetJob takes no cut. Typical active use (résumé tailoring, cover letters, interview prep) costs €4–8/month in credits. Heavy use might reach €15. Light use might be €2. It scales with what you actually do — not a flat charge.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrade from Pro to Premium or downgrade from Premium to Pro — changes take effect immediately and billing is prorated.
Do you charge VAT in the EU?
Subscription prices are shown ex-VAT. Applicable EU VAT will be added at checkout based on your country. Business customers with a valid VAT number can apply for reverse-charge treatment. The AI usage billed by Anthropic follows their own VAT policy.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancel within the first 7 days and you won't be charged anything — no questions asked. After 7 days, you can still cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your current billing period. Anthropic API credits (Pro plan) are governed by Anthropic's own refund policy.
Is the Career Coach included in all plans?
Yes — the Career Coach is included in every plan. On Pro, coach conversations use your Anthropic API key (typically a few cents per session). On Premium, coach usage is included in the flat monthly price with no limits. The coach has full context of your job search — your profile, watchlist, application history, and conversation history — and can evaluate job postings from URLs, generate application documents, and log applications directly from the chat.
Is my API key stored securely?
Yes. Your Anthropic API key is encrypted at rest using ASP.NET Data Protection (AES-256) with keys stored separately from your data. We never log or expose your key. You can revoke and replace it at any time from your account settings.
Where is my data hosted?
ReadySetJob runs on Railway's EU (Frankfurt) region. Your data never leaves the EU. We are GDPR-compliant. See our Privacy Policy for details.
